What is Occlusion Training?
Blood-flow restriction entails wrapping a cuff around either the upper arms or thighs to reduce the amount of blood that can enter the muscles and leave them. The goal being the restriction of venous return while still allowing arterial flow by strategically wrapping the topmost portion of your limbs. By restricting the veins and not the arteries, blood can keep pooling into a working muscle and it stays trapped there
